Hi, I'm Tamie. I've had vertigo for at least 33yrs. I have missed work in the past and have been very aware of my potential to fall. In the past few years I have struggled to stay upright almost daily.

I am being treated for Migraine Associated Vertigo. It has helped a lot. But, I've also started on oxygen for my breathing health. That has also helped with the constant gyroscope around my head.

I fall a minimum of twice a day on a good day. I fall continuously on a bad day. Driving helps get my spinning under control but I'm afraid to admit that I'm losing that on my worst days.

I never have been scared by a spin because my vertigo came on slowly. I have a date that clarifies that I have been unbalanced since I got married. My husband used to love to turn off the lights and listen to me fall against the hallway wall. So, since I've been married over 31 years, I am sure that this has been ongoing since before we met.
