"I guess I should have started with a better explanation of my situation. My husband has had a daily headache since about 2000. He has seen chiropractors, a homeopathic doctor (top of the line), an allergist, an acupucturist and of course his neurologist. The headaches seemed to start around the time he developed sleep apnea (of which he has been treated for) and gradually became chronic. Over"

"About 14 months prior to getting NDPH, I had a very stressful period in my life where I got headaches every day, usually lasting much of the day actually, for about 3 weeks maybe, but they weren't that painful, just always there. Woke up with them as well. Then they just went away. They were diagnosed as tension headaches. I had no nausea with them, like I have with NDPH. Prior to that or subsequ"

"I am amazed to find this group online. I recently decided to do some more headache research after a long break (I had become obsessed with trying to find some solution, but mostly ended up frustrated). So I'm really happy, after such a long time, to have stumbled upon a specifically NDPH support group, and to hear stories from people who know exactly what I have experienced!

"Hi...newbie to the group here.
I'm curious as to whether most people experience NDPH as an 'ACHE' or as 'TENSION".
I've had a persistent tension in the temple areas for over 20 yrs. It came on right after I got married and even though I divorced 12 yrs ago, the condition has persisted.
I've had a few appointments at MHNI including with Dr. Rozen but so far, nothing has helped"

After going to a couple of neurologists who thought she was faking it, we got the NDPH diagnosis at Mayo. The doctor there recommended trying Elavil, Pamelor, Neurontin, Depakote or Tompamax and said that she should continue to get incremental improvement and that with treatment the headache would g"

"Welcome everybody,
As you suggested we made the main color burgundy. I think it looks nice !
I need your help on choosing the right image to represent the group (instead of the hugging couple). Joanna’s idea was to get an image that represents NDPH without making it too sad/depressing.
Bellow are 5 images I found in istock. Tell me what you like and I’ll buy it.
Looking forward to get your opi"
