I have never had a doctor tell me about this.
Can someone tell me what kind of help there is out there?

"thought i'd just mention that a chinese doctor told me to take some chuan xiong cha tiao wan,i started taking it last week and for the last 2 days I havent really had a headache. now i am not saying this stuff is a cure, but what I am saying is that it is worth a go as its fairly cheap. it may not even be the long worded chinese stuff thats helped me, but my headache is currently at a 0-1.

"Is anyone on, or tried Actiq? My wife has had NDPH since May 31st 2003. The fist 6 months she had it her pain was at a constant 9 or 10. She just sat and stared like a zombie and couldn't do much of anything it was really pretty sad & scary. Her doctor has her on 600mg of Actiq 4 times a day along with 500mg of Topamax a day. She also takes Ultracet as needed when the rest of her meds don't"
