"Hi,
I was only diagnosed with NPDH a few days ago, but have a headache for over 20 years. I have been prescribed topamax to see if that will reduce the pain, otherwise my nest step will probably be a DHE infusion.
Have any of you had any success with either of these treatments?
I am an Aussie - and look forward to 'meeting' others who have this sort of headache.
Cheers
Wombat"

"Hi...newbie to the group here.
I'm curious as to whether most people experience NDPH as an 'ACHE' or as 'TENSION".
I've had a persistent tension in the temple areas for over 20 yrs. It came on right after I got married and even though I divorced 12 yrs ago, the condition has persisted.
I've had a few appointments at MHNI including with Dr. Rozen but so far, nothing has helped"

"I checked clinicaltrials.gov and saw that a Dr. William B. Young at Jeff was conducting research on NDPH. I sent him an email inquiring about the study. Has anyone volunteered for this study or does anyone know about it? More info at: http://clinicaltrials.gov/show/NCT00335803"

"Welcome everybody,
As you suggested we made the main color burgundy. I think it looks nice !
I need your help on choosing the right image to represent the group (instead of the hugging couple). Joanna’s idea was to get an image that represents NDPH without making it too sad/depressing.
Bellow are 5 images I found in istock. Tell me what you like and I’ll buy it.
Looking forward to get your opi"

"Hi there... So, my name is Joanna, I'm 22, a recent college grad, living in MA, originally from CT. I joined the site because of my 3 years (and still going...) with daily headaches.
My diagnosis is New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH). Basically, they don't know why it started, and there's no one cure that works for everyone with this. [b]I woke up with a bad"
