son w/lymes disease

In Lyme Disease Support Forums > General & Support
"I have a 19 year old son w/lymes disease. Most of his symptoms are neurlogic. He has had the iv antib. etc, but it seems his neurologic problems are getting worse. Our neurologist suggested we take him somewhere on the east coast to a lymes dr that is also a neurologist. I keep hearing about dr's in CT. If anyeone can give me names etc.

We just came back from the doc who said he thinks my son has lyme disease (thinks ?!?!).
He needs to do a couple of tests which I didn’t really understand.
It was so confusing. So many things fall on you at once.
I would also like to get a second opinion on this, can anyone recommend a good doctor for us?
Also I would very much like to hear from other who were in this spot.
