I've had untreated lyme disease since 1999. Just started treatment Feb.2007. Everyone knows I have lyme disease, but they don't understand the severity of it. They've done no research on their own. They think what I have is more of an annoyance than a "real disease."

TICK/LYME season is in full swing. please dress appropriactely:
light-colored long-sleeved shirts,
long pants,
socks up and tuck your pants inside your socks,
walking shoes, a hat,
DEET spray, use lighter % for kids; NOT adult % !!,
light gloves if g"

"Just wondering, as some people saw Dr. Oz on the Oprah show yessterday and he was discussing Lyme. She blew it off as not a big deal, but he seems like a good allie (sp?)
Wonder about Montel, as he has MS....but maybe he doesn't. Maybe he really has lyme.
I am sure there are many celebs that we could catch the attention of for help. Even news stations to run stories.
