"My husband was recently prescribed the mood stabilizer Lamictal but was supposedly not diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Is this common? I believe he shows all the signs of bipolar. He has been previously diagnosed with ADHD and is on Straterra. He claims the Lamictal is for the mood swings associated with ADHD. Can anyone clear this up for me? Also, does anyone have experience with this drug"

I am taking Lamictal 200mg daily now for Bi-polar II, have been on that since November, I really do not think it is working!! I am still having my "evil spells", I feel like I could bite the head off of a snake one minute and the next I am crying my eyes out or completely manic. Is it just me??
