My husband is on 1000 mg of Depakote per day and just recently has gained 38 pounds in 2 months, which we know is a side effect however he is also unable to sweat at all! He used to sweat all the time before the medication, is it because he is retaining water??? Also, he is out of breath so easily, he is winded just going up one flight of stairs. There is a history of heart condition"
