Hey...

I spent many years convincing myself that I had over come the sexual abuse I suffered...but I had only scratched the surface...as there were other factors that I hadn't dealt with...in how my abuse was handled...and learning to truth behind when/why it happened...

I had also become my mothers "prized fighter"...so I spent years fighting to protect her...which was wrong...

This has spilled into my adult life...which makes things hard...but I am bound and determined to make myself better...and want to be there for those who have suffered as well..helping others has always been therapeutic for me...

Always feel free to contact me...

HiddenButterfly HiddenButterfly

Hey all, I am hidden butterfly, Brenda, HB, Hidden or any other derivative of the name. This was my original group when I signed up at MDJ in 2008. There were only about 30 of us then and the group has grown tremendously since. The first account of known sexual abuse was when I was about a year and a half old. There were other things that happened before then that I am unsure if were sexual or not in intent, but they did affect me in many ways. Things continued from that point until adulthood. I have fought hard to work through most my issues and become the person I was meant to be in the beginning. I personally believe that the abuse has help to give me insights to help others that I would not have if it had not happened. I am in no way an expert, but have more than enough experience in the subject to help. I want to help as many people fulfill their potential as possible and this forum has shown to be a great place to do just that. Please feel free to pm me about anything, even if it is just to rant about how your day was so wrong because of a flat tire in the rain and causing you to be late for work and miss an important meeting. I feel that all aspects of life are ran together and affect each other.
