I never new how bad rape victims had it until it happened to my family. I am very aware now. My daughter is getting counseling and is feeling much better. Though it is very hard we are healing everyday.

Hi, my name is Lori, I am married and the mother of 3 children and grandmother to 1. I live in Northeastern Ohio and was a avid volunteer in my community and the schools. Now that my children are all about grown and on their own I'm looking to expand on other interests.

I am nearly 50 and the survivor of sexual abuse as well as rape. Getting past the trauma, shock and mental anguish of these events is a life long process for many of us, but it can be done.
