Hello everyone, I am hiall. I'm married and live on the west coast. I am the father of a survivor. My daughter was raped two separate times at a young age. I never new how bad rape victims had it until it happened to my family. I am very aware now. My daughter is getting counseling and is feeling much better. Though it is very hard we are healing everyday.

I know my family felt alone and didnt know what to do or who to turn to after we found out. I, and the people in this forum care and want to help you the best we can. Please private message me if you need someone to talk to. I also have ICQ chat if you want to instant message me (ICQ name: hiall, number: 382561525)

Hi, my name is Lori, I am married and the mother of 3 children and grandmother to 1. I live in Northeastern Ohio and was a avid volunteer in my community and the schools. Now that my children are all about grown and on their own I'm looking to expand on other interests.

I am nearly 50 and the survivor of sexual abuse as well as rape. Getting past the trauma, shock and mental anguish of these events is a life long process for many of us, but it can be done. I am hoping to give guidance, support and hope to anyone looking for help surrounding their recovery. I have been through counseling over the years and recommend that first to anyone struggling with the aftermath of sexual abuse. We here can offer you support in knowing that you are not alone, and there are people who understand how you feel. PM me anytime :)
