MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Hi, my name is Tony and it is indeed an honor to be asked to act as leader in the Pulmonary Fibrosis Group and also to assist in the Alzheimers Group.

I was very happily married to Brid for 44 years. Nine years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimers and I immediately undertook to care for her - part time at first and gradually 24/7. It was a pleasure despite some difficult moments. I cared for her to the very end here at home. She was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis 4 years ago and I purchased the necessary equipment to be able to give her specialist better information. I had the pleasure of him telling me that she was the best cared for among all his patients. She passed away peacefully last November and now I would like to give back something to the group that helped me during Brid's illness.

You will find this to be a safe haven where you will get support, advice, information. When you are at your wits end we will listen to you and help as best we can.

Tony
