MDJunction to me

cappymuir"MDJunction means to me the freedom to express my feelings without being interrupted and knowing there are others that can share their experience too. As a Leader it is a to show compassion and give support to all the members and always listen to each one's needs. Sometimes I may not be able to relate, so I view the responses that do relate and happy to see the results. I am proud to be a member of MDJunction and share it with all I meet that need support. I am glad to be an advocate for many different areas that MDJunction fills." (cappymuir)

List of Doctors for Occipital Nerve Stimulation
Written by Banner307
28 February 2013

This is a list of doctors involved with headache treatment using occipital and/or peripheral nerve stimulators. The list is not comprehensive; there are many more doctors out there. I would encourage you to contact a stimulator manufacturer (i.e. Medtronic, St. Jude, Boston Scientific) to locate a doctor near you.

If you have another doctor to add to the list, please email me at onstim@gmail.com.

Occipital Neuralgia: Dr. Jho's C-2 Microdecompression, A Novel Treatment for Occipital Neuralgia
Written by huskyboys
26 January 2010
Instead of the conventional treatment of nerve-cutting, the C-2 nerve root along with the ganglion and postgangionic nerve are decompressed (released from compression by blood vessels) via a 2-cm skin incision. Unlike the conventional surgery of nerve sectioning, Dr. Jho's operation is physiological because he does not sacrifice the nerve.
