My husband woke up on June 25, 2005 with a headache that never went away. He has been subsequently diagnosed with NDPH. I am his wife and supporter.

Living with someone in chronic pain is a test of patience and love. It's a continuous struggle and challenge and I'm so glad this forum is here to provide support, not only to the one with the ailment, but also their families.

If it weren't for this forum, we may have missed out on some treatment options and doctors to help my husband's condition and we feel blessed to have found it.

I'm here for support and information so thank you for all that's been given and has yet to be received.

I have had NDPH since May 12th 2006 with my diagnosis coming about three months after that. Having a headache 24/7 has changed just about all areas of my life, but little by little I am learning how to live with it and finding medications that make life easier.

I have found it helpful to talk to other people that understand 24/7 pain and the frustration of not knowing what caused this headache. If you or someone you love is in this difficult situation I hope this forum can be of help to you as well.
