"Hello everyone, Delighted to announce that am the new GL for the SE&PT SG :-)! Will be away for a couple of days as it is my hubby's birthday tomorrow. Yet, when back, will then be around as much as possible.Take excellent care of your fine selves. Am not a counsellor or therapist plus have a myriad of health challenges, yet, have two good bat ears plus a heart full of compassion. Hope to be a fantastic GL for you all.

"It is the most beautiful night, the air is crisp and clean and the sky blue and clear. It is a night to be grateful for all our blessings. And friends, and love and the things we can do should be celebrated as blessings. Especially as friends who understand are blessings beyond price, they are pearls from the angels. May your week be filled with blessings of joy and love and acceptance and lots and lots of pearls.

"After all the MRI's and Cat scans and MRA....I decided to visit a dr I used to go to and he said the ER Drs and the neurologist were all wrong about my condition. Today he gave me 6 injections in the back of my neck where I have 2 pinched nerves,,now all my pain is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and put me on Tregatal (sp) to ease the pinched nerves over time and pain killers.I have NEW HOPE!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"WELL, I HAD THE 2ND SCAN OF MY BRAIN...SO FAR THEY HAVE DONE A CAT SCAN AND AND 2 MRI ONE WITH CONTRAST AND ONE WITHOUT. THE DOCTOR HERSELF CALLED ME TODAY TO SAY THEY FOUND SOMETRHING OF INTEREST ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY BRAIN EVEN THO IT'S THE LEFT SIDE THAT IS NUMB. THEY WAMNT TO DO A MORE DETAILED TEST TO FIND OUT WHAT IT IS THEY ARE LOOKING AT THAT SHOULDN'T BE THERE

Happy Tuesday!!!!
I know so many of our family have been suffering so terribly and for so many different reasons. But we are all Fibrowarriors, and
WE FIGHT HARDER!!!!!
But, while we are fighting let's remember to look around us at the beautiful earth, we are so lucky and nothing shows off the earth like August, with gardens producing, Flowers in full form, sun shinning brightly and cool blue waters so inviting, clouds and well, everything is so very beautiful.
So everyday try doing something kind for someone just because. We all have so many blessings in our lives. Trials yes, but the trials make the blessings sweeter, don't you think?
So PLEASE enjoy a part of your life outside for a little while everyday and something kind for someone you know who might be lonely or sad, or in more pain than you are, and always remember
YOU ARE A FIBROWARRIOR and very loved by so many of us here!!!
And if need be our acts of kindness can be done by computer, a little note, a long over due email a card......

"THE DETAILED MRI OF MY BRAIN TOMORROW MORNING SHOULD SHOW WHAT THE CATSCAN DIDN'T. I DON'T LIKE ASKING PPL TO DO THINGS FOR ME BUT I REALLY AM SCARED THIS TIME! THE DIZZY SPELLS AND NUMBNESS AND DEEP EMBEDDED PAIN HAS LASTED 9 DAYS NOW...PRAY THEY FIND WHAT IS DOING THIS AND CAN FIX ME! I LOVE Y'ALL MORE THAN YOU ACTUALLY KNOW...I WISH I COULD FIND THE WORDS TO TELL EACH OF YOU WHAT IT IS THAT I LOVE ABOUT YOU...MAYBE IF I PULL THROUGH THIS BRAIN PROBLEM...I CAN WRITE A LONG SONNET NAMING EACH OF YOU TO WHOM I AM REFERRING TO..AND WHY I LOVE YOU. THAT'S A GOAL THAT MIGHT EVEN GET ME THROUGH THIS!!!! OXOXO"

"MY TRIP TO THE ER TODAY WED 7/21
IT WASN'T A STROKE...OR MY HEART HOWEVER AFTER MY EPISODE 2 DAYS AGO
I AM TO CALL 911 NEXT TIME I POP A NITRO UNDER MY TONGUE. TODAY I WOKE UP WITH COMPLETE NUMBNESS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD...FACE, NECK AND DOWN MY ARM...HARD TIME TALKING...AND WALKING. I WAS SURE IT WAS A STROKE..BUT THEY THINK ALL MY NERVE ENDINGS WENT NUMB BECAUSE OF 2 THINGS...A SEVERE TYPE OF MIGRAINE, AND THE PINCHED NERVE IN MY NECK. WHICH COULD CAUSE THE MIGRAINE...YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN? ANYWAY, THEY PUT MORPHINE AND PHENEGRAN IN MY IV AND I AM STILL FLYING...THIS ALL BEGAN AT 6 AM THIS MORNING AND IT IS NOW 13 1/2 HRS LATER..AND I AM STILL NUMB...THE PAIN IS GONE, BUT I HAVE LORTABS IN CASE IT SHOUOLD COME BACK AND I'M USING MY RIGHT HAND TO TYPE. "I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT BY THE GRACE OF GOD MY LABWORK AND BLOODWORK ALL CAME OUT NORMAL!! AND IM FEELING SO MUCH BETTER..I APPRECIATE THE PRAYER YOU PROBABLY SAID IN MY BEHALF...WHAT A GREAT FRIEND YOU ARE. I LOVE MY MDJ FAMILY! AND YES...I AM BACK IN FULL SWING AND PICKING UP ON MY WORK AS ONE OF THE GROUP LEADERS IN ADDICTIONS RECOVERY. I WILL LSO BE HELPING OUT IN THE DRUG ADDICTION ROOM.( although..not offically )..AND YOU WILL BE SEEING ALOT OF ME IN FBROMALGIA AND SOME IN BIPOLAR WITH FIBROMYALGIA. "I may have o go back to the hospital...seems have had a setback and labs won't tell anything for two weeks. I may have to forget my trip to Ohio to see my sister and brother. I hope I get well soon and can become more active as I used to be, I am so sorry!
