"For all the people that I hold so dear I wish you a pain free day. For those of you whom I have not yet met I would like to extend my hand to you and welcome you to the best place on Earth. We are all so fortunate to have met and interact in such a loving and positive way. I love the support and acceptance and best of all the silliness that lifts our spirits and gives us glimpses of our inner child.
I appreciate you all.
Love,
Casty <3"

"Hello to everyone. I'm glad we have the means by getting in touch with each of you. I hope that this will reach some people that have not responded in a while. And I also hope you will have a good weekend that is coming. All of you take care of yourselves, so that you might be able to hug others. Kathy"

"Hey trishM, thanks for the hug and the note. It made me feel better knowing that someone else goes thru the same pain as I do. I also suffer with migraines, and take Topamax and Zomig on a daily basis to keep mine under control and I still have one at least once every 10 to 14 days. I have many medical problems besides my fibro. I have RLS,degenertive disc disease, thyroid nodular disease, osteoarthritis and several noncancerous tumors on my spine as well as straightening of the spine. I am currently undergoing testing for insomnia and sleep apnea. So talk about a list huh, I hope I didn't scare you off, you should see the list of meds. LOL. I do not walk with assistance yet, and I stress yet, there are many days when I have to have a family member come to help me take care of my own children and home because I am unable to get around very well. I have a TENS unit that stays hooked up to me at all times unless I am sleeping. Have you had any black out spells? I have had some and am restricted from driving at the time until the doctors find out why. Well all for now. I'll pray for you and your daugther."

"Welcome to the group! I'm glad you are seeing good results from the heat packs, EMS, and gentle pilates exercises.
I do some yoga and it helps with strength and flexibility and helps to relieve stress for a better night's sleep...sometimes a bit painful at the time, but always worth it. I feel so much better after yoga class. I will pray for your daughter for help for her addictions. I have been clean and sober in AA for over 15 yrs and there are a number of us on this fibro forum who are also in recovery.
We have to be extra careful about how we manage our fibro pain!"
