I get the Mag Glycinate at "Bee Alive" health food stores here in CA. I don't think any Drug stores carry it. I have tried both the Solaray and the KAL brands and haven't noticed any difference between the two.
I hope the doctors got your heart rate under control.

"Thanks buddy, I am trying to get control of all the exhausting muscle tightness and pain by starting acupuncture treatments. Tomorrow is my 4th. It's still too soon to know for sure if it's working or not. I am also taking Magnesium Glycinate which is supposed to promote muscle relaxation and 'proper' bone structure. It is also heart healthy. If you want to try this - only use the "Glycinate" formulation. 400 mg per day. It's been about 10 1/2 months now. All the best to you Dirk,

"Thanks for the 'hug.' I have been having severe back pain for a few years now and just been putting off going to the doctor. About 6 weeks ago I finally went to a specialist and found out that I have Scheurmanns. Am going to pt twice a week now. Have been told that the pain will get worse before it gets better. But for now, surgery isn't an option. Will see my dr. again in a couple weeks for a follow up. I am so excited to have found a website and to find others with this disease too. I hope everything is going well for you."

This evening, I had a read of your journey and the pictures you posted.
I am "gob-smacked" and so happy for you.
The post operative pictures and the improvement in degree of curvature are outstanding. I hope this is making a big difference in your life and would love an update on how it is all travelling further down the track.

"tank ya for the response...yeah my guy said he'll recycle as much as possible. thats weird but cool at the same time. RI has this special program where u can like recruit people and as soon as they donate if they are your type thier blood will get put aside for you...kinda cool and i might do it...like you said I'll have some blood brothers (or sisters ;-) haha. Meanwhile theres a drive today im donating to just to donate...bc i can donate every 8 weeks if i want. I agree with you about using what the hospital has got on tap...its good stuff and safe nowadays. I got a hump peep licence plate the other day that i ordered online. I'll hafta upload a pic on fb later and show ya. my moms a CNA so im having her scope out getting her hands on a walker. how ya feelin? i kno u said ur neck was hurting, any relief? hope so . thanks again...and any more questions i come across...I'll send em ur way. =)"
