MDJunction to me

ASO1979able"MDJ to me is a safe haven, it's a place where I can be myself and admit my feelings without being ridiculed and made fun of. It's a place where I feel like part of a family instead of an outsider. I feel like my feelings and thoughts are safe here." (ASO1979able)

A little about me: My formal name is Mr. Stone. Currently I live in North Carolina, United States. The job which I work at requires a lot of analysis. I am an active writer who enjoys putting together several works for readers to enjoy. Misinformation is something I personally despise and find it hard not to have a grudge against those who spread it. In the future I hope to almost put an end to such acts. Biased individuals get on my nerves, but I still think a person reserves the right to speak what is on his or her mind. On the positive side I'm living a wonderful life thus far near the countryside. It is rather peaceful where I live. Not much noise to worry about here. Still not so far away that I can’t go on a shopping fiesta. Generally I am a pretty laid back fellow when at home. I enjoy reading or watching about various historical topics; one about World War II. Reading news online is another pastime of mine. Computer technology is a strong interest as I sometimes find it hard not to think of the next upgrade in my system. I see myself as rather complicated, yet whoever said anyone was simple?
My Awareness Ribbons

"HIV Aids had killed members in my family. I want people to know about AIDs. We need to put an end to this global epidemic."

"Child abuse is something nobody should ever experience in their life. It is changes who you are as a person. As a mother or father hopefully it gave you the desire to raise your children with the life you didn't have. Stand up against real child abuse!"

"No person should know the feeling of hunger. Sadly thousands of people do who later die from starvation and disease. This isn't something isolated in third world countries either. It can be found in homes across modern world as well. Stop world hunger so neither a child nor an adult knows what it feels like to die because they were hungry."

"Breast cancer, something no woman wants to hear. I've watched family and friends struggle with it. In the end it made them stronger people to fight on another day. It also made me appreciate life much more. Finding a cure for cancer would heal so many lives it would try to destroy. Let us find a cure to stop this horrid curse affecting so many innocent lives."

"Several of my family members fought in Vietnam. That war did things things to them I could not begin to understand. So many died fighting alongside their comrades. Those who survived remember it vividly and at times are reminded of it in great detail. Support Vietnam Veterans who chose to serve."

"Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes are unfortunately prevalent in my family."

"My grandmother died several years ago from a malignant tumor during my youth. Mother has told me many positive stories of how beautiful and good a woman she was. Sadly I will never get to know her personally."

a HugIt's been a few months since i've sent out one of these, and i'm sorry about that. What I can talk about now though is rebounding from a setback. Doesn't matter how far low you sink if you know you have the strength to get back up. And if you don't think you have it, stop by the Child Abuse Survivors Group, we are good at helping you realize it within yourself. And hey, what better time to start that upward climb than when the weather is finally starting to get warm?
