| A little about me: | I am a recovered, not cured, CLD patient with maintenance. With conventional meds and Chinese herbal treatments, I am fortunate that I am doing well. From being bedridden to actually taking hikes and walks like I did before CLD. There is always hope. I only hope all of you fare as well. Six yrs later I had to battle Babesia, Bartonella and Lyme once again. I have recovered after 1 yr of conventional and unconventional treatment. I am doing extremely well. UPDATE: Been Lyme & Bart free for awhile now, Babs free for over a year. I have no lingering symptoms or flare ups, been med free for over a year. I have stuck to my wheat free diet and do maintenance to keep my immune system strong. I have begun a website lyme-aware.org to showcase the works of those that have used their experiences with Lyme and other associated diseases to make a difference and raise awareness. I hope you take the time to look at it. If you know someone that should be highlighted, send me a note. |
