| A little about me: | Hey there I'm Feez I'm 38yrs young & have given up smoking pot, i quit this addiction back on the 22nd may 2009 & haven't looked back. i come on here every few days just to say hello and to see how my new found friends are going with their struggle in this ugly addiction & hard journey. I have found this support group to be very helpful for myself so i'd like to give back & share my journey with other people and let them know that they are not alone in this & that there is support for them. I had been smoking pot since i was about 16yrs on and off but have smoked everyday for at least the past 10yrs before that i had had a one year break only due to having a break down, yes i was on other drugs at the time, i was in the party scene so i was going to Raves (dance parties) & taking ecstacy & speed. During the last 10yrs i have only had a 2 month break off the pot, i have tried to give up on many occasions but would only get to day 3 and then would smoke again because i didn't like how i was treating my husband etc, i also had a friend living with us who smoked with me so my poor husband would have had to cope with both of us coming down off it, so i would start again. I'm so over it and do not want to spend another dollar on pot as my husband & i would love to start a family, so if that isn't a good enough reason i don't know what it is, other then my health and the saving of the money, oh yeah and my sanity. I also run my own little beauty salon and pot smoking was starting to affect it & all other areas of my life....I'm keeping strong and am proud of myself for how far i have come, it hasn't been easy but when you want something so bad you can do it..... I hope everyone is keeping well & strong in their journey for quitting this once & for all. Keep Keeping strong everyone & thank you so much for all your support...
