A little about me: Hi. My name is Leigh and I am 29 years old.

Within the last year I've been diagnosied with primary adrenal insufficiency (Addison's Disease), hypothyroidism, hypogonadism, pancreatitis, atrophic gastritis, malabsorption, and iron-deficiency anemia. This is Polyglandular Autoimmune Syndrome.

I was recently also diagnosed with Lyme Disease. My health had been deteriorating for a while and things got really bad, but I'm thankful to be alive.

I have an identical twin sister who is (thankfully) healthy. We live with my boyfriend and many animals that we've rescued. Before all of this health stuff started, I was a kindergarten teacher, veterinary technician, free-lance musician, and athlete.

Although medical treatment is a necessity for me, I am a naturally-minded person and try to maintain a holistic approach to my health. I am thankful for communities like this one and have met some wonderful people here.

Thanks in advance!
