| A little about me: | My Lyme journey began 8 years ago, even before I knew it was Lyme. The only time I ever even really remember ticks, is when I was covered in them as a kid (11-12 years old)when we had come down from my cousins barn in MO. I hear some don't start developing symptoms until 10-12 years after they remember being bit. (this is crazy) But I remember my symptoms starting about a year after I adopted a kitten, now 9 years old. ???? (which I didn't even put together until years later and a couple of other things) I live in Texas...still work (even though there have been days, weeks on end, where it is pure hell making it through the day)...have a wonderful 24 year old son ...work for a chiropractor..., and there have been times when I know what I was going through got under his skin as well, but anyone else would have fired me, he stuck it out with me. I am fortunate to work in the natural health field...I have browsed through this site for a while, and seem to be a lot of wonderful people experiencing similar things... |
