| A little about me: | My husband has cirrhosis, diagnosed in Feb. 2009 which threw our lives into a nightmare. We celebrated our 28th anniversary in June while he was in the hospital. We have 6 children (between us), my 3 boys, his one daughter and our 2 adopted daughters. We also have 11 grand children and one baby boy soon to arrive (Sept. 4). We've just moved to our condo in South Carolina and are finally settling in. It's 7 hours from our family but was a necessary move. Cirrhosis came to us unannounced, we do not intend to let this unwelcomed pest stay...will not allow it to control our lives. MDJ has been my salvation in so many ways. The friends I have made here are dear to me, each bringing renewed faith in my fellow man and the Lord. |

Cirrhosis....The Nightmare
This is going to be my way of trying to cope with my husband's illness. The illness his doctor said he didn't have that nearly killed him on 2-15-09 when his esophagus exploded (my best description of what happened that night).
