| A little about me: | I live in MI with my husband & son. 10 months after my son was born I had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 23. Since then, I have had to have 2 more surgeries to remove more endometeriosis as well as a surgery to remove a breast tumor. The pain is still there, but I think that I have somewhat learned to deal with it - for now. I am still trying to get used to everything else that goes along with surgical menopause - hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, insomnia, etc. I am also the main caregiver to my husband who has had Multiple Sclerosis since 1999. We married in 2002. He has gotten worse lately after having 2 flares at the start of 2009. He is no longer able to work & uses a wheelchair full time to get around. |
