| A little about me: | I am a 43 year old mother of two. I was diagnosed with bipolar II in October 2008 after an "episode". I began crying for no apparent reason and couldn't stop. I asked my spouse to take me to a local psych hospital where I was diagnosed. I have been struggling with suicidal depression since I was 17. In between the episodes of depression, I was very high functioning. I earned several awards in the military and college. Unfortunately, my reasoning ability was impaired at times, which I now know was due to the bipolar. I am also an incest and rape survivor and have ADHD. I always thought that the depression was caused by the trauma in my life. I have received effective counseling for my trauma and rarely think of it anymore. My exhusband and 11 year old son have high functioning autism and depression. My 20 year old son has ADHD. I am currently studying to be a history teacher. I have made many wonderful friends here on MDJ. This is the first place where I have ever felt like I fit in. |

| Hello, To all of my friends, group members, newbee's. Sorry, I haven't been on. My cousin passed away at age 41, we were all very sadden by this loss. Please say a prayer for my family.
