| A little about me: | 12mm pituitary macroadenoma removed at age 45 resulting in hypopituitarism. Adenoma was secreting GH, ACTH and TSH. Spent 10 years with an exploding brain every three weeks for four days. Hmm... you'd think someone would've thought that odd, painful and worth investigating. Alas I was alone in that. After much kvetching and making myself a perfect annoyance I got to see a neurologist. Neuro sent me for MRI and bingo, an organic explanation for the brain explosion. Who'da thunk that. |
