| A little about me: | Hi everyone my name is Mike and I have RSD/CRPS for 14 Years.I had my hand crushed in an industrial accident 1500 pounds of steel was dropped on my right hand.I had 5 operations then had a quarter of my hand amputated,this all took place in 1994. The RSD/CRPS started in my right hand and arm,Iwas getting numerous ganglion block shots which helped to bring it under control.Then the RSD/CRPS spread to my shoulders,back then to both legs and feet when this happened I was getting lower lumbar injections plus water therapy helped for awhile then I got my first SCS it was by Medtronics it helped greatly this was done in May of 2002 it was working great until November 1 of 2008 it stopped working needless to say I was in great pain I could not walk stand or do anything,I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where I was given morphine which did not go over to good I had to stop after 4 doses because I did not know where I was.My pain Management Doctor said I needed a new SCS I had to wait almost 3 weeks before the insurance company would approve it another 3 weeks of unbearable pain.I had my new SCS implanted on November 20 2008 what a relief I now have a Boston Scientific Unit and I like it better than the old one the stimulation is just so much better,with the old one I had to adjust the stimulation in each leg with this one when I turn it on the stimulation is the same in both legs and feet which to me is great and when I make an adjustment in the stimulation both legs and feet get stimulated the same no going from one leg to the other well thats about it I hope I didnt bore you Thanks for letting me tell my story. mike karny@gmail.com |

| My dear friends on Sunday I am going in my Country to visit my parents grave.This will be first time to go back after my mom pass away and I will have hard time cause I miss her so much..:(...I will be back June 17...I went on second MRI of head today to see is it my brain cyst/tumor getting bigger and I am so afraid.I may not find results before I go so please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.I love you all and I will hug you again after I come back.I hope to not having any panic attack on flight.I am well prepared with medications.I wish you great stay and many happy moments in life.Your friend Slada |
| Sending much love, care, healing prayers and thoughts out to each of you. I've missed you and the time many of us shared together. Just diagnosed with Gastritis by ERCP 2 days ago. My stomach a lining is extremely inflamed and swollen. A biopsy was taken, stones found beneath my liver and the gall bladder tissue regrowth. My gall bladder was removed nearly 15 months ago. Needles to say the pain is horrible in addition to CRPS. I will be getting the photos from the RSDSA SF Conference edited onto my blog soon. I promise! 2 procedures and a surgery to go.
