| A little about me: | Hello, I am a 59 year old Afro-American man, who is happily married to the best girl in the world. I love life and with Gods intercession and intervention in my life, I enjoy defeating the lifelong obstacles I continue to face. I work in North Louisiana for a poultry processing company. I have seen God equip me for every job I have held in the last 6 years at the plant. I have gone from a pencil pusher as a Quality Assurance Tech to a stacker, stacking boxes over my head with 34-45 pounds of breast meat, wings and tenders all day long, to now a Floor Tech. I was diagnosed in my teens with Pan Hypopituitarism. There were not many warnings of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome in the early 50's as they are now. I believe this caused my health problem. I did everything late. Some of my baby teeth came out at the same time as a neighbors younger child. Some had to be pulled to make room for the permanant teeth. I weighed 40 pounds at the age of 6. I was always the shortest kid in the class. Never really went through actual puberty. Thats why I have always looked so young. I had to show my license to buy alcohol at 18. Now I have to show my license to get a Senior Citizens discount LOL. With PHP they always told me to never EXERT myself. Thats what I told them on the job. Hey I can't stack these heavy boxes. Somebody say "But God", But God enabled me to not only stack for a 2 hour rotation but eventually stack all day. I get redfaced and hot but I get the job done. I have been on meds ever since the PHP discovery. First and as now, HydroCortisone for the Adrenal glands, and also Levothroid for the Thyroid gland. I was also given Human Growth Hormone in the 60's, which actually helped me to grow, and Testosterone off and on. People will tell you that I grew after I was grown. I will say this much for PHP, it is essential to have an excellent Endocrine Physician. My Doctor seemed to be in touch with my body from day one.He wants me to continue the testosterone for the Bone health Benefits, but I'm turning them down due to the increase in Gynecomastia. My weight shot up from 160 pounds to 185 with the steroids. I lost 20 pounds but looked very sickly, so now I am back to 185 and seem ok with it. What ticks me off is seeing women who have a sex change and take Testosterone ending up with more masculine features than I have, full beard, mustache and all. I have never had to shave, don't get a bad body odor, and no noticeable Adams Apple. As i said earlier the PHP has brought with it Gynecomastia. Which is what brought me to this site. With my clean face and mid ranged voice it has gotten bad with people mistaking me for a woman. But God... He will get me through this one also.
