MDJunction to me

1magicman"Before i found MDJ i was in the deepest darkest part of my life after my abduction. I wanted to feel safe. I wanted that sense of being a normal person.Finding MDJ and the people with in it has steered me down the correct path into the light of hope. The feeling of hope that i was not alone, the feeling of hope of understanding, and the feeling of hope to move on. I never give up hope." (1magicman)

A little about me: Diagnosed with Rapid Cycling Bi-Polar in June 2008, previously treated for depression with any number of anti-depressants for 10 years. I am a teacher who has been out of work since '05 due to a cervical injury which then developed into Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia. Ridiculous number of meds caused weight gain of 40 lbs, deepening my depression. No diasability, no money, adding to the stress. Am still not sure I'm NOT depressed vs Bi-Polar, but BP meds seem to be helping. Wonderful supportive husband - family not-so-much. Trying to go back to work part-time but experiencing a depressingly long recovery. Therapist wanted me to join support group in nearby town - not much of a joiner. This is the first time I've talked about my "condition" with other BP patients/strangers. Thank you for having me.

I've no idea how to describe my diary. I'm sure "eclectic", erratic, obsessive and somewhat bizarre will be apropos ;) < correct spelling, I checked, cuz that's the kind of obsessive I am!
