MDJunction to me

"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

A little about me:

Hi Group,
I am Mary Miller. I have dystonia.
I had dbs 4 yrs ago in NYC at Beth Israel.
I had a case of polio when I was 8.
It affected my right side.
I used to be full of pain all through my body. I lost my voice 34 yrs ago. About 15yrs after I lost my voice. I could barely walk with out help. I had to use a wheel chair.
Now! I am pain free! My voice is back!
I am singing in a choir at church.
I walk with my wheel chair.
I CAN walk some a few feet. Then I panic.
I have 4 grown sons.
Last April I got married (2nd marriage)
I told everyone;I wasn't to get married,
if I couldn't walk down the aisle.
Well,my oldest son walked me down the aisle.
I used the wheel chair coming up the aisle.
