| A little about me: | I am sheduled for a rhizotomy. The diagnostic blocks are terribly painful but my doctor said they were not. After he litteraly stabbed the needle into my spine i had to make him stop because it was so horribly painful. I want to know if anyone out there felt that their diagnostic blocks were painful or if it was just me? Also i am scared of the rhizotomy and if it will make me worse. Reading other responses i have learned why i had such a migrane after just the first injection. Also the doctor taped recorded my incident and claimed that i just became upset during the procedure so he quit. I was in terrible pain and could not handle it any longer! Should i just live with this or is there anyone out there that has anything more to say about the blocks, and rhizotomy? Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou. |

| Diary Description: | I am starting this diary to chronicle to the best of my ability the expierinces that i have gone through, and continue too. I have Celiac Disease,,even some of my doctors dont understand all. I am self educating myself. I live with spondilosa (spinal cord artheritis) My former doctor wanted to perform a risky surgery on me without exlaining any of the side effects. Thanks to my studies and other good docs. i passed. I suffer chronic nausea, dizziness, migrains, and overall aches and pains. I cannot take ibuprohen due to my disease, but i can recieve it in an injection form. So if any one out there is having the same problem the injection of ibuprophen does work. If you can get it. My ex pain managment doctor took his first look at me and promptly said "well seeing that your tiny, with blonde hair, green eyes and your occupation is hairdresser i suppose you want to be that small?"..I am only 4ft. 11inches tall and have always weighed 93lbs. He had no clue about celiac and the lace of nutrition my body does not absorb. I have osteopenia also. No one this young wants to have artheritis at a young age or at all i imagine! Two days later his office was strewn with articles on celiac disease and its symptoms. I hope he read it and understood how he judged and misstreated me! My case is pretty bad. I wish it on no one. I just wish i could get help with the nausea and arthritis. Autoimmune causes so many disfuntions. | ||
