| A little about me: | Found a Solution: For angina meds that affected my breathing.... Hi I had an MI when I was 45 now 47 & have had angina spells ever since. A few months ago it increased to daily severe long lasting debilitating events. They would not have known if I hadn't had a spasm during a heart cath. It's a long story of all I went thru to get relief but I am taking Imdur (nitrates) 60mg & Cardizem 360mg. That relieved the pain but was replaced by difficulty breathing. I had to share the news that my breathing has improved tremendously by simply taking the Cardizem (calcium channel blocker) at bedtime & the Imdur in the morning. I found out accidentally when I forgot to take my medicine till much later in the day & felt good. I took the meds together & it was hard to breath again. So I thought maybe its to much blood pressure heart slowing meds at once. So I took the Cardizem at night & viola! My Dr seemed unaware & unimpressed with my accidental discovery? I just made this discover a week ago & already am able to do more & I don't have to take endless breaks like before. My hope is I will be able to walk my dog again soon.
