| A little about me: | 44yr old female diagnosed with RP at age 15 and legally blind with 2 degrees of peripheral field remaining. 20/30 central vision with glasses or contacts. Also have been diagnosed with glaucoma recently and macular atrophy. Happily married to the man of my dreams. Proud mom of one son, and extremely proud grandma to an energetic 7 year old grandson. Living life to the fullest. You never know when it could all come to an end. Why worry about the end when we have today? Still active in art: drawing and sketching. Gave up painting when I couldn't tell my colors apart anymore. UPDATE*** I am now once again active with my painting and will find a way to decipher my colors one way or another.LOL Here for friends and support on those not so great days when the clouds move in. Great to have people who understand what you are going through. |
