MDJunction to me

neshama48"Having Crohn's Disease for over 26 years, in the first few years, it lonely and isolating.
Though now my disease is in a near perfect remission, my friends and family are sympathetic to me, but I can not talk to them about this disease. When I stumbled across MD Junction, and met others who had the same disease I was not alone in battling the disease. MD Junction is like a second family, without the judgement or guilt of having Crohn's Disease, but they do give you love and support.

A little about me: I'm 33, a wife, mother of two kids ages 7 and 4 and a teacher. I suspect I've had lyme disease for at least two decades. I was responsible for washing my dogs which were at some point infested with ticks. Then we also had a flea infestation at one point growing up. My symptoms prior to this year were dizziness, light headedness, fatigue, brain fog, and chest pain. For years, I've sought medical help to no avail. I'm fine as far as medical tests are concerned.
This year, I took antibiotics and had a very bad reaction. At first, I thought it was due to an adverse reaction, but as time went on, I knew my symptoms were a whole lot different from the rest of the people suffering adverse reactions and so here I am, trying to learn as much as possible from this group which has been so supportive.
As far as testing is concerned, I didn't have enough bands to be considered positive. I have of lot of symptoms, though. I've retested using Igenex and I had five bands!!!!
I believe I will get better, and it's my faith, family and friends that keep me going.
