| A little about me: | I've been fighting fibromyalgia for years. I used to be a competent litigation paralegal, but I haven't been able to get employment for over two years. I need disablity to survive, but the doctors up here are running dogs to the legal industry. I worked ski patrol for years and was a medical instructor. Doctors up here are terrible. They are afraid to even make a diagnosis without sending you to never ending tests and other doctors in order to spread the liability, just in case of a lawsuit. We have the best health care in the world - that your insurance can afford. If you can't afford it anymore, die and go away. Despite all of the overwhealming evidence regarding Fibro, I recently had another doctor, Hill up at the University Medical Center, refuse to give me a prescription for seratonin uptake medication, instead scheduling me to see a psychiatrist. What a jerk! I'm well past the end of my rope. Peterson in Incline won't see me, I've tried for years. He only sees rich people in Incline. Gerber down here, despite advertising as a doctor treating fibro, I've never even been able to get past the receptionist. No insurance, no see doctor. These doctors confuse the words Hippocratic with hypocrasy. Reno is awful for medical care. |
