A little about me:
I love the friends I have made on here and it is the silver lining to bearing this horrific condition. Thank you for being my silver lining!

I thought I would put a master list of my afflictions here.
Bronchitis - Off and on since 8th grade
Mild Asthma - Usually accompanies Bronchitis
Mild Eczema - easily handles with cream
Allergy to the Sun - even overcast days can do it. Itchy rash that turns pussy.
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome - 1987
Migraines - all my life, under some control since regulating my BP
Ocular Migraines - since 1999, very strange sensation.
Gall Bladder Removal - 2000
Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome - Had a hysterectomy
Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease - take 20mg Prilosec 2 times a day
Hypertension - take Olmesartan 20mg once a day
Type II Diabetes - take Rosiglitazone Maleate 4mg once a day
IBS-D - I take Iron supplements and it helps.
Anemia - After grueling surgery lost a lot of blood
Diverticulitis - Bowel resection in 2004 infect so bad it matastasized to uterus and ovaries, all were removed with 12" of my sigmoid colon
Bursitis - Left shoulder, left hip
Osteoarthritis - Every major joint and back and many minor joints
Bone Spurs - in my left shoulder
High Triglicerides - taking Gemfibrozil 600mg twice a day
Hypothyroid - Take Levothyroxine NA 0.075 mg 3 tablets once a day
Compressed discs in my L and S back
Gout - after Renal failure in 2005, effects every joint
Kidney Stone - Another gift of renal failure
Lumpectomy - above right breast, no cancer but I worry as that is how my Maternal Grandma died.
Plantat Fasciitis - got custom orthotics
Fibromyalgia - take 75mg Amitriptyline at bed time
Panic Attacks - no treatment
Insomnia - Amitriptyline is supposed to help
Vit B12 deficient - taking 1000mcg every morning
Depression - Zoloft 25 mg once a day
Degenerative Disc Disease - take nothing for pain....not by choice.

I avoid Advil, Motrin, Ibuprofen at all costs as that is what I attribute my kidney failure to, I was taking the maximum dosage for a few months and my kidneys went kaput. I am also leery of Tylenol but I do take that every day because the percoset has been cut out. It is incredulous to me that I cannot take what helps to control my pain. Since being cut back I can no longer exercise so I will continue to gain weight. I can’t do my crafts and therefore my livelihood has taken a back seat to the pain as well. Is there a paper I can sign stating that I understand the problems these could cause just so I can get some semblance of a life back? I am so tired of drug seeking patients getting all they want while those who legitimately need it cannot have it. It is so backwards I just want to scream! They f%*&#d it up for those of us who need it! There has got to be something! It doesn’t have to be an opiate it just has to help. I want to be more active but it just is not working. What do I have to do? I am tired of feeling like I’m 90 years old. I’m tired of my house being a mess. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired! I used to be able to walk to the mail box and now that seems insurmountable. How crazy is that? I am too young to feel this old. I need help.

a HugYou are special and deserve to be treated as such. Never allow anyone to tell you any different. For if they do, then they do not deserve to know you, much less have the right to call you a friend.

a HugHi all me friends. Sorry i have not been around here lately. I have been making some changes and restructuring my life. I have been feeling great lately and wanted to not keep it to myself but share the inner feeling with you. My son that had so so many problems in school has really changed over the past few months. And he sees he happy where he is now. Thats all i wanted for him. No nightmares for him nor me for months. We feel now that the road is getting smother. With all this we keep it in a pocket next to our hearts for safe keeping to look upon the good times when we need it most. I share this with you so you can keep the strength that i feel in your pocket next to your heart when you need it most.

( Hope To Cope ) Scott
