| A little about me: | My daughter was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Kyphosis and Scoliosis in Jan 2008. In April 2009 She had a spinal fusion at John Hopkins. I wondered at the time if I made the right decision watching her in pain and the daily fight to recover. Then she was one of the 2% that get an infection. So she had another surgery and a few more weeks in the hospital. But it is now Oct 2009 and she is back to playing Volleyball and her clothes fit better and her posture is incredible. Yes she still has pain and some weakness but at this point we are only 6months post op so out outlook is still bright. |
