| A little about me: | I am 30 yrs old, i got lyme while backpacking europe. Sick with Lyme 5 years but only recently diagnosed via positive western blot for borellia and 2 co infections. Lyne has ravished me unfortunately fron my eyes, heart ,and CNS but not my spirit. I am fighting this beast with every fibre I have left. In addition to antibx, like many, i am incorporating the stephen harrod buhner protcol of his 3 core recommended herbs andropgraphis, cats claw and reveratrol as well as the supplements from Dr Burrascabo's ''Advanced Topics in Lyme Disease.....so far no change. Prior to Lyme, I travlled around the world for 3 years...hense i was in europe when i got sick. Like many, I have lost most but confident there must be a higher purpose for this journey, I am fast learnng that we, lyme patients, each other, are our best resource as we know more than more physicians. I have many questions and am grateful to be a part of this site. I am currently single, no children and the want for those things is what is driving me to win this battle. I came in a good person, can only hope i come out a better one! B4 Lyme I travelled, enjoyed cooking classes ( love ethnic food and cant wait to be able to eat again!), and love to paint. At this time I am not able to much of anything but now that I know what I am dealign with,I am hoping that may change..I am so Lyme at the moment that i am literally GREEN! |
