 | I see you're an educator. That's awesome. In time, if you haven't already, you will meet a student (or students!) with the same signs you remember in yourself and you can be there to support him or her. Life wi th bipolar is tough. One minute you're on cloud nine. Another minute you're fine, looking for your shoes, and all of a sudden realize that you're feeling a lot of scary, terrible thoughts. My NINE year old (adopted) DD already has this! I see you said that it takes all that you've got. Hopefully that means that you're working hard at fighting this. I'm praying that someday there will be a cure for it. They are making great strides from just a few short years ago, only having lithium to treat BP with. Now there are many on the market. We just have to pray that someone will figure out the connection and make it okay for everyone with this awful brain disorder. Good luck, and feel free to contact me whenever. |
