| A little about me: | I am a retired LPN. I worked for 25 years, loving almost every minute of it. We moved to Central Oregon from Southern California in 2000. After a major car accident on the icy roads here I seem to have developed FM. I actually think I had symptoms for years, just didn't recognize it. I have applied for SSDI, which has been over 2 years ago. I do have a lawyer, but sit here waiting. I filed after my benefits ran out, so we are trying to prove the symptoms were while the benefits were active. I love to sew. I mostly make quilts, but occasionaly will make something else. I have 2 grandsons, down in Southern Californis. they come to visit in the summer. Jakob is 5, Joshua is 12. My husband, Mac & I live in a rural area, in the pine trees. We love it. We have 2 acres. I love to do gardening when I can. this year has been very rough on me, as my FM has been very bad. I can do a little each day or so, then have to do something else. But I usually get it done. I have my beds all ready for the winter, so don't have to worry about that anymore this year. I fear this FM is getting the best of me at times. I have gained so much weight. I am in such pain everyday. Just one day I'd like to get up and have a WHOLE day painfree! |
