| A little about me: | Grew up in Indiana and was heavily involved in gymnastics and diving growing up. Went to Purdue and graduated with a degree in psychology in 2000. Worked as a children's case manager in KS then moved to MT and worked at a children's psychiatric hospital. I had a son in 2003 and shortly after his birth, I began having extremely painful symptoms in my hands. Eventually I was diagnosed with RA. I began working for CPS investigating child abuse and neglect. I've been doing that for 5 years. In that time, rheumatologists have changed my diagnosis to Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Palindromic arthritis. I was diagnosed with Fibro about 4 weeks ago by my primary care physician (genius!). I'm taking Lyrica and Cymbalta and that seems to have diminished the pain. I'm not looking forward to this going on forever... |
