a Cheer UpI had 'NDPH' for a year almost before we said that this was crazy and something real must be wrong. it's been a long hard road for me as I see it has been for you, and i was lucky enough to be able to find a nation-wide group of friends i can keep in touch with, all ill like me. Then it started to click, half the friends i spoke with regularly had same symptoms, same issues, same journey, but they had recently been diagnosed with Lyme. My mom and i searched far and wide and learned too much about Lyme disease, but then again it wasn't enough. There was one trusting lab, IGeniX in CA., that could do the test correctly. we paid out of pocket to get these positive test results, especially since I had already been ill for so long and mislead by so many Dr.s who just didn't know. basis of this little story is I fought and didn't know until it was right in front of me, I had Lyme and was told it was impossible....

I'm supporting you!

a HugHi, I was just trawling and I found you. I must congratulate you for persevering against all the odds. My son Richard has been suffering for 5 years, he's 22 now, and although he got his uni degree earlier this year has just about given up! He can't concentrate, can't work, can't exercise etc. He's currently in the Inst of Neurology, Queens Square, London, having 8 days infusion of lidocaine which has, if anything, made him worse. He's also got alloydinia all over his scalp and face and that also drives him mad. I noticed you come from Brighton, my younger son is at uni there. How do you cope? You're both around the same age and I wondered if you could correspond with each other to compare notes. This desease is a very isolating one and it is hard for ones peers to understand what you are going through. Good luck with your new studies. We're from London by the way!
