| A little about me: | Wife of 27 years & mom of 2 great kids. My hobbies are genealogy, photography, crafts & floral design. I have had Lyme since May 2002, but wasn't diagnosed until July 2003; I've been on antibiotic treatment since that time. Currently I am about 90% symptom free. I look forward to the day every single symptom is gone forever. My best advice to anyone & everyone who has any type of tick attached to their body; DO NOT remove the tick with your fingers. If you don't have a tick removal tool then get a pair of pointy tweezers. I removed a dog/wood tick with my fingers & the bacteria in its body was squeezed in to mine. |
