I know what you mean (to the best of my ability) when you say you're not the same person. Try to remember this - you don't have to be! When life deals a crappy set of cards, it's hard to put on a poker face and stay the same. We change along with those changes. All we can do is try to make the best out of any situation we're in - try to keep the same core qualities, yet learn to adapt.

In my own situation I feel like my life has been ripped away from me - but staying in that mentality will not help me deal with what I've become. You're doing the right thing - reaching out to people who actually can say "I understand". I hope that helps a litte. Holler if you need to vent! :)
