| A little about me: | i am 50, married, have 2 wonderful sons and 2 beautiful grandchildren. i was diagnosed with diabetes in april 2006 and made some necessary lifestyle changes - diet, weight loss, exercise. in september 2007 i was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus - i was told that i had a mild form of this disease - mostly i have alot of pain in the joints. the meds seemed to help in the beginning but now i am finding that nothing really helps. 9 days out of 10 i just feel bad overall. i do try to avoid stress as much as possible because i have found that is what causes most of the problems. of course, having a loving supportive family really helps me during the worst times. since my original profile was set up i have also been told that i have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, sjogrens and raynauds. |
