| A little about me: | I was diagnosed with celiac disease on 09/05/08. I'm 48 years old and a married mother of two. I work for a major retailer and love it. I have had problems with my stomach for as long as I can remember. Mouth ulcers and acid reflux since I was a teen. I am very happy to finally know what is wrong. Since I stopped eating gluten all is well. Still have the heartburn and mouth ulcers but at least I don't get sick and have severe stomach pains all the time! Yea!!! |

Diagnosed with a disease I have never even heard of was quite a shocker. It has now been 7 months. I am not as overwhelmed as I was at first but still occasionally slip up and boy oh boy do I know it. It gets a little easier with time.
