| A little about me: | I'm a 47 y.o. female who was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 10 years ago. I've had panic attacks and depression since I was in my teens, and was later dx with ADD, then PTSD due to a trauma. More recently, Agoraphobia became a part of my life. This really seemed to manifest since I began caring for my mom, possibly due to the stress, and isolation. I've worked in various areas of social services for 20+ years, but stepped down from my last job to care for my mom, after my dad died in Jan/09. I'm currently a full time caregiver for my mom, whose dementia and brittle diabetes have progressed considerably. I have a few hours of help per week with my mom through the state, basically no help from extended family, and no current income. I'm in the process of figuring out legal and financial issues, and what I need to do in order to have some sort of life again at some point. I welcome new friends for mutual support!
