| A little about me: | I am 34 years old and I first started having symptoms of EDS when I was 11. Throughout the years I have been diagnosed with more than a dozen disorders, but none of the therapies seemed to work. Finally, I got my EDS diagnosis and it all started to make sense. On a personal note, I am married with a beautiful 2 year old daughter and I am a Drama and Language Arts teacher in middle school. I love to swim and I read as often as I can. EDS makes me feel alienated and lazy. Sometimes it makes me really hate my own body. I came to this group on the advice of my husband, who cares about me in a way that sometimes overwhelms me. |
