| A little about me: | Being on this website, I hope to gain a better understanding of Lyme Disease...some new friends along the way would be great also :) I want to become an advocate for myself as well as other Lyme sufferers, but I have no idea where or how to begin. If you have any advice, please let me know. Lyme Disease is not where I want to stop, but where I'd like to start! Diagnosed w/ Lyme Disease at the age of 12. Treated for one week before being considered cured, never re-tested. Ever since then I've been suffering from debilitating migraines, travelling joint pains, insomnia, confusion, minimal hearing loss, "spots" in my sight/vision, and trouble concentrating among many others. Not knowing much about Lyme, my family and I thought it was ruled out since I had been given an antibiotic. Thirteen years later, we know better. I look forward to meeting anyone and everyone I can! |
