MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

A little about me:

recently diagnosed,I am happily married to a wonderful, loving man, who keeps me sane and who has believed every symptom
no matter how incredible it may have sounded. I also have a 23 year old daughter who is trying to get into a residential drug treatment facility so she can get help for her addiction problems. I pray alot and take one day at a time. I still work, but i'm not sure for how much longer. I miss at least 1 day a week , can't get out of bed. most days walk with a cane. I'm glad I found this site. It feels good to talk to others who know what i feel. Peace to you all. TrishM

Musings From The Fibro Feather Bed
How to answer the "BIG ?" work or disability? How many times do u have to discribe how u feel, or can can u just say give me the Rx and let me go home. How do u chart progress with a chronic condition? HOW ABOUT: "Learning acceptance and making peace with yourself"? aaaaaahhhhh that's better.
