 | Green Ribbon | 05/06/2008 | My ex-husband was diagnosed with Bipolar when our son was about 6. This brought forth many "ah-ha" moments with regard to my sons behavior. I have been the advocate for my son, who is now 11 1/2 years of age and has just transitioned from a special day school, back into the public school system, after almost two years. Bipolar is a struggle for those that have it and their loved ones. |

| A little about me: | I am 43 and have been overweight my whole life. I've maintained an active life; however, I'm still overweight and have put on 45 lbs. since last November. I decided to sign up for Gastric Bypass and am on my way to losing the required 10%. Currently I'm 250 and must get down to 230. I was also told to join a support group; so here I am. |
